The Education Academy is a private school created to address the needs of elementary school children
who are experiencing behavioral and/or other related problems in a public school setting. Each child
has been enrolled by the sending district's child study team with parental approval and support.
The school contains seven classes, educating children from kindergarten through eighth grade.
All classes are self-contained and designed to maximize learning opportunities for special children.
The program is highly structured with equal emphasis placed on academics and social growth. The Education Academy
strives to maintain students' connections to the community with monthly trips to the library along with other
educational trips featuring a variety of activities. An extended school year (summer program) is also offered.
